Animated minisseries:
"Descomplica os teus direitos"
Legal language sometimes sounds like jargon, oftentimes inaccessible to the people who need it the most.
That’s why GDA decided to launch a series of explainer videos that aimed to simplify these terms and make clear their role in supporting artists navigate the world of collective management.
This commitment was to be presented by way of an accessible and practical guide, using simple and dynamic video content. As part of my role at Madeinlx, I was entrusted to make this happen.

Drawing from the scripts provided by GDA and from the existing design and animation of the first video (which was already partially made), I refined the illustration style, created storyboards and implemented them into people-friendly, ready to share, animated videos.
This involved an ongoing back and forth chat with GDA, to make sure every concept was being visually translated coherently and truthfully.

The result?
A series of videos that, through visual metaphors and clear communication, translates a complicated language and finally explains to artists their rights in a way they can understand.
