Visual content for NAPA’s “Deslocado”
“Deslocado”, by the band NAPA, was the selected song for the Portuguese entry at Eurovision 2025. Drawing from the band’s personal experience, it takes us on an emotional journey of longing for the place you belong: home.
The challenge? Create animated visuals that would not only accompany NAPA’s music performance, but also match and complement its emotional tone.
As part of my role at Madeinlx, I designed and animated this visual content displayed on the large LED screens at the Eurovision stage in Switzerland.

The band's initial ideas formed the starting point of the visual direction, and my role was to translate, refine, and expand those ideas.
Abstract colourful gradients and shapes were combined with symbolic landscapes, and together they resulted in an engaging visual experience that conveyed the right mixture of happiness and nostalgia.

In the end, this visual atmosphere not only added depth to NAPA’s performance, but also translated the song’s themes to an audience of millions across Europe and beyond.
